My sister-in-law asked me a few weeks ago to design an invitation for an engagement party that she was helping host. Morgan is very fashion forward and so is the bride-to-be, so I wanted to do something simple, but really sophisticated at the same time. I have a book of 18th and 19th century monograms that were used as wax seals, signet rings, etc. They are really gorgeous and I love using them! The extravagant monogram paired with a clean block font and balanced with the script of their names produced a really beautiful invitation ( in my opinion!). They are printed on white textured card stock and finished with rounded corners. Again, I printed the host names on the back (* Morgan’s idea was to use only the last names…LOVE!).
